WOMEN

The movie that we watched in class was very realistic. Women do have to face the problems stated in the film everyday. We are always judged on what we look like and have to work harder to over come the hump of being a woman. Yes, there are some situations were being a woman helps like what Corey said about his mom getting her job but the reality is that we live in a male dominated world and women only get in if they work twice as hard. After we watched the movie we looked through the magizines and i saw why women give themselves such a hard time on what they look like. there was a ad about chex mix saying that it doesnt matter your shape be yourself but our chex mix now has 50% less fat. it was kind of ironic. being a female i dont feel different in school, but i do feel different when i have to have someone walk with me to the library at night and always have to watch myself at parties and other things. im not paranoid but it is still in the back of my head of what could happen to me in different types of situations. also at my work i now have to work with a male. i work at a coffee shop and we had some bad situations with some of the regulars so now my friend meghan and i can no longer work without a male. this sticks in now i cant work with meghan anymore and i always have to now go into the back when certain customers come in. women are strong and just as good as men but it would be stupid to say that they are equal in everything and to say that they are just as safe as men in situations.
